Columnist says COMELEC chair Andres Bautista committed five serious crimes
"As a notorious hypocrite, he destroyed his credibility that not even God can save him." -Rod Kapunan

The exposure of Andres Bautista’s unexplainable wealth is a major hit in today’s media. Not only that, it is also a very significant issue where an election protest was filed, claiming there’s an election fraud. Bautista swore on the truthfulness of the results of elections, but that statement was severely tainted by his more than 30 bank books with approximately 600 million cash in bank.

Rod Kapunan, a writer for Manila Standards, said that Bautista can’t get away of the issue because of the evidences that were held against him as of this moment, and all of this will hurt his credibility. Kapunan added that this was just a Divine justice served to him. “The wrath of God struck him like thunder. The retribution came not from the persons he oppressed when he was the head of the Cory Aquino-created robbing machine but, my goodness, from the very person with whom he is supposed to share the same bed.”

Kapunan said that Andres Bautista committed five serious crimes as summarized below:

One, for cooperating with a front company of the CIA in tampering the result of our election in 2016.

Second, for receiving huge sums of money from Smartmatic which he foolishly denied as commission but 'referral fee.'

Third, for using the office of Atty. Nilo Divina to cover up his dealings with the sequestered Baseco, UCPB and with Smartmatic.

Fourth, secretly meeting Leni Robredo in a condominium owned by his mother-in-law on July 16, 2016.

Fifth, for going to Washington to talk to the operatives of Smartmatic to possibly firm up the fraud that in the event President Duterte is ousted or die while in office their bogus vice president will succeed.

Kapunan also stated that he might not be on court right now, but the Filipino people already set a trial for him. Kapunan also named him a con man, a man that would fool anyone to achieve his own personal agenda.  Bautista looked like a man of truth and justice, as he held the position in PCGG, then appointed as COMELEC Chair.

“As bar topnotcher, he knows there is no saving lost credibility. Losing that is equivalent to saying nobody trusts you, and no lawyer, not even a psychiatrist, can help you. The issue is not about what we might say “double-bladed” philandering husband, but about the gargantuan amount of wealth he amassed and was exposed by his brave and patriotic wife, Patricia Paz Bautista. As a notorious hypocrite, he destroyed his credibility that not even God can save him.” Kapunan added.

Kapunan said that even former ABS-CBN news executive Charie Villa “believes Andres Bautista was able to gain close close to P1 Billion undeclared wealth because of election rigging and his ties to voting technology firm Smartmatic.”

Kapunan also believes that even if there is a personal between Andres and the whistleblower, his wife Tisha, out of all filthy secrets revealed, it cannot get away with the fact that the COMELEC CHAIRMAIN ANDRES BAUTISTA collected a huge amount of wealth close to a billion with unexplainable origin.

The people would demand the truth from Bautista.

“The interest of the public is not about his marriage, but the disclosure about the “other” carefully guarded secret that somehow indicates he was under the payroll of Smartmatic.”
